- Luke 15:11-32 The Prodigal Son
- The Prodigal Son is about forgiveness - the younger son had sinned against his father but his father was still so excited to see him even though he had gone out and spent all his money.
- Son!!!!
- I've run out of money!
- The Prodigal Son is one of Jesus' parables.
- But I'm so hungry
- No Food!
- It shows that through God people are able to forgive and make harmony and it also shows that Jesus wants us to follow a path of forgiveness and a love of God.
- Father I have sinned against you and God
- Son. You were dead but now you are alive I'm going to throw a feast for you
- The son went out with his father's money and threw parties but soon burned out all his money and was poor.
- He was now so hungry he then went to a farm and asked a person to hire him and he would feed the pigs, but the people there refused to give him food.He then realised that he could become a servant at his father's house as they get lots of food as he thought he didn't deserve to be his father's son.
- Even though he had spent half of his father's money his father still forgave him.
- Even though the older son was angry the father was very understanding and explained to him that he is always with him and everything he owns is also his.
