The Kayak

- While paddling, the wind changes out of nowhere, sending a wave crashing into Jamie, and into the ice-cold water beneath his sail. Teresa positions her kayak in a way where she was able to lift the sail just an inch, enough to let Jamie out. Then, Teresa gets hit buy a cross wind as they go over rocks. Her kayak flips, but she manages to get herself out of the water just as the clouds darken, and the water becomes calm.
- Climax
- The rain comes down hard as Teresa and Jamie gather themselves and finally make it to shore. Jamie gets out and wonders why Teresa is still sitting in her kayak. Teresa's mom the pulls up with a wheelchair and her dad puts her in it. She became really embarrassed as Jamie stared on, not knowing what to say or do, and wished that she was somewhere else. At this moment, Teresa started to cry.
