- Refusing to heed her mother's accidental curse, Sirena went back to the ocean and swam for hours.As each hour passed, her legs fused into a colorful fish tail, and was oblivious to such a change.She was now a mermaid.
- Sirena's mother, and her godmother who visited, waited until the next morning to see if she came back, but to no avail.Her godmother suspected that her mother had lain a curse on Sirena, and they left knowing they couldn't do anything.
- Nowadays, Sirena's tale is known for it's themes of respecting your parents, or else your consequences will catch up with you.Many know it is simply a rumor, but some may choose to believe she's out there somewhere.
