- I have noticed that some of your belongings are on my side of the room. I am beginning to wonder if you think we are sharing the whole room,rather than splitting a room and each having half of the room. Is this a fair assessment of your views? How do you see the situation?

- I am not comfortable with sharing my things, and I value having space just for myself. Although we are roommates, I thought we were splitting the room, where we each had around half. I would appreciate it if you kept your belongings on your side of the room. Is there anything I have been doing that has been frustrating you?
- I understand. I’m sorry for making assumptions and leaving my things on your desk and in your personal area. I feel overwhelmed about putting my things away when you dump them on my side of the room. Is it possible if you could let me know if my things end up on your side of the room, so that I can take care of them myself?
