  • ACT 5. scene 1
  • The Thane of Fife had a wife; where is she now? What will these hands ne'er be clean? No more o'that, my lord, no more o'that. You mar all with this starting.
  • She had spoke what she should not, I am sure of that. Heaven knows what she has known.
  • ACT 5. scene 3
  • Bring me no more reports; let them fly all. Till Birnam Wood to Dunsinane i cannot taint with fear. What'sthe boy Malcolm? Was he not born of women? The spiritsknow all mortal consequenceshave pronounced me thus: "Fear not, Macbeth; no man that's born of women shall e'er have power upon thee. Then fly, false Thanes, and mingle with the English epicures. The mind I sway by, and the heart I bear, shall never shag with doubt, nor shake with fear.
  • ACT 5. scene 5
  • If thou speak'st false, upon the next tree shall thou hangalive, till famine cling thee If thy speechbe smooth I care not if thou dost for me as much. I pull in resolution, and begin to doubt the equivocationof the fiend that lies like truth 'Fear not till Birnam Wood do come to Dusinane and now a wood comes toward Dunsinane. Arm, arm and out!   • Lady MAcbeth is found by her servant sleep walking in the castle. The servant goes to find a doctor to help Lady Macbeth but he says that she is not ill; she just has an 'infected mind' from the many sins she has committed. She is making comments about the murders of Duncan, Lady Macduff and Banquo showing her guilt and instable mind at this point in the play.
  • ACT 5. scene 7
  • An army which is loyal to Malcolm plan to meet at the final battle against Macbeth. Whilst Macbeth prepares to defend the castle he remembers the witches prophecies thatensure he will successful. That is when he notices he will not receive a peaceful old age. The doctor taking care of Lady Macbeth enters releasing the new her sickness is of mind not body and their is no cure.
  • ACT 5. scene 8
  • Outside the castle Malcolm and his army have cut down trees as disguises. Macbeth still inside is relying on the witches prophecies to ensure he has victory. He then starts to fear after he heard of his wife's death. Macbeth is made aware that Birnam Wood is outside and Macbeth prepares to leave his castle to fight. Macbeth encourageshis men to fight and go into the battle field.
  • ACT 5. scene 9
  • The battle had begun and many beings are killed defending their honours. Macduff struggles to find Macbeth and Malcolm has revealed the castle has been abandoned.
  • Eitherthou, Macbeth, or else my sword, with an unbattered edge, I sheathe again undeeded. There thou shouldst be: by this great clatter one of the greatest note seems bruited. Let me find him, fortune! And more i beg not.
  • In the end Macduff find Macbeth. They fight on another, but whilst they pause for a breath Macduff reveals he was born of Caesarian section and consequently is born of women so he is able to kill Macbeth and he did so.
  • Malcolm and his allies celebrate their victory inside the castle. They celebrate few losses and their win.
