- Alright, let's talk about this weeks assignment. It's a group project on all that we've learned about the American Revolution. I've already assigned your group members.
- Hello, everyone! I hope you had a good morning, and are ready to start the day.
- (1) I think we should discuss whose gonna do which portion of the project.
- (4) I don't care about the portion that I do.
- (3) I would like to do the timeline of major events.
- (2) I would like to do the image representation of the American Revolution. I've already got an idea.
- (1) Okay, since you didn't care which portion you do we decided for you. Alexis you can do the facts page.
- (2) What!?? I didn't mean pick for me. I'm not gonna do any of it!!!
- (4) Ben's right. That's not fair to the rest of us.
- (3) Hey, but that's not fair to the rest of us. You're gonna have to do your part!
- (1) Alexis, they're both right. You're gonna have to do some of the work. Just think of it like this it will go much smoother if you help.
- (2) However, it's up to you. But if you don't do your part than we will have to inform the teacher.
- (4) Yeah, yeah whatever. Fine I'll do my part, but don't bother me about it till Friday.
- (3) Yeah. However, we don't wanna have to do that. Please just do your work, Alex!
- (5) I agree with Caitlan, and we won't bother you. However, if you don't do any of the work you know the consequences!
- (2) We told her that if she didn't do it then we would inform the teacher.
- (4) I'm sorry this happened to you all. I will inform Alexis that she will not be given credit. In addition, Caitlan will get extra credit for doing her portion as well as your own.
- (3) Yeah, she told us she would do it, but she lied. We thought we came to a solution with her, but it didn't work.
- (1) Mr. Gordon. We wanted to inform you that one of our group members, Alexis didn't do her portion of the project.
- (3) Caitlan, you made the right decision. Although, it wasn't what we all wanted to do it was the right thing to do. Alexis should have done her work.
- (4) I agree with Sarah. You did the right thing, and in the end we appreciated it.
- (2) It's alright, Alexis! We forgive you. However, I also wanted to apologize. I didn't want that to happen at all. However, I wanted to do what was best for the group.
- (1) Guys, I just wanted to say I'm sorry. I realize now that it was wrong of me to expect you to do all the work. And, I want to thank you for attempting to get me to participate.
