- It begin on Christmas eve in Camelot, when king Arthur and his wife queen Guinevere and all the noble celebrate with exchanging gifts.
- The door suddenly open, a gigantic figure and his skin is green with his horse. While the knights and king Arthur is ready to attack against this intruder. But the green man meant no quarrel.
- Well done; in one year and a day meet me in the green chapel so I will do my deal to you and the axe.
- All the people is silent though the all knight that they have is all strong and brave enough. When king Arthur stood and accept the challenge but the man on the right also accept the challenge "his name is sir Gawain"
- Sir Gawain walk toward the green knight and the green knight knelt down, with one quick stroke the head of the green knight cut, and all the people startled.
- The green knight body did not fall and he grab his head, and start to speak about the deal.
- Sir Gawain have many thought and worries in the evening celebrations, and always thinking of his words in the green knight.
