- Hello. I got your letter. I know exactly how to help.
- Are you sure that this is going to work? I just want to make sure.
- I am going to go to heaven and give God a rainbow. It is a colourful pathway from heaven to Earth. When someone in heaven asks to go down to Earth to check on their family, it will form a bridge for them. It will stay out until they have finished checking on their family, and come back to heaven. So, every time you see a rainbow, someone from heaven is coming down to check on their family.
- Yes, I am sure. You have nothing to worry about.
- I will be back.
- A few days later, the King and Queen wake up to a ring of the doorbell. They go look to see who it might be and when they open the door, Iris is standing in front of them.
- Hi God. I am here to give you something that is for the good of everyone that comes here.
- Hello there Iris. What is it that you have for us?

- I have a rainbow. It is a colourful pathway from heaven to Earth. You will keep it and when someone here asks to go down to Earth to check on their family, you will take it out and it will form a bridge for them. It will stay out until they have finished checking on their family, and come back to heaven.
- This is a great idea. Thank you so much Iris, they will love it.
- And just like that, Iris was on her way to go tell God about her idea.
- Everything is set. Now whenever a rainbow appears in the air, someone from heaven is coming down to Earth.
- I knew we could count on you! Thank you for everything!
- Then, in heaven...

- Soon enough, Iris flew back down to the King and Queens castle. Now the King and Queen knew that each time they saw a rainbow, one of the times it would be the King's father. They lived happily ever after.
