- Priests were an essential class to the Maya. First, they must learn how to read and write. Second, they had to learn about astrology and the many gods. In addition they also advised the kings.

- Kings were the leaders of a Mayan nation. They have to declare war and also decided the next move for any city.
- Slaves
- This is the lowest level of the Maya social class. They usually do work for higher members of the Maya hierarchy. Specifically, they worked for nobles and the king. They would do work that you would expect Slaves to do, meaning, work around the house.
- Soldiers
- Soldiers had one very important job. That job was to fight for their nation. Sometimes they also had to defend their nation. They waited for the king's order to attack.

- My favorite Social class is the priest. I liked them the most because when I researched about them I learned a lot of interesting facts about gods.
