- When they woke up, Ulrich and Georg did not know where they were. It was a dark and cold place and everything seems to be so gloomy and empty. Both of them were in shocked and feeling the pains all over their bodies. Ulrich was injured and George too, but both of them can still move and talk.
- Ulrich where are we? What is this place? Do you know where we are? Damn!
- I do not know! I have no idea. I cannot remember this place even. The last thing on my mind was there was a thing coming towards us! And it was a wolf!
- Oh heavens! We are inside a cave! This is it. We are dead Ulrich! What shall we do?
- Ulrich and Georg cannot believed that they were lost. They still felt dizzy from the accident they had on the tree, but they can remember some of those scenes. They started thinking of a way how to escape. They realized that those packs of wolves carried them to their den inside the cave.
- Do not freak out. We need to keep calm and move silently. Wolves are sleeping and I hear them. We must not wake them up.
- The two planned how to escape the wolves and be alive. Ulrich and Georg argued of what could be their best plan. Ulrich suggested that they must go on the side of the cave and pass by the sleeping wolves, but Georg was too nervous and panic to the plan. The two decide to go around a little more and check if there another way out. Ulrich has a luminescent watch which somehow helped them see. Both of them tirelessly searched for any way that could possibly lead to them to escape. They found a hole on the floor. It was a cliff and down below was a water. A bright light was reflecting into the water which gave them an idea that it was the way out.
- Do you think I have a choice! Alright I will do it. But we must jumped together. In a count of 1, 2, and 3!
- I see a light down this hole. This is a water hole so it is safe for us when we jump. This is only way Georg. We must jump!

- Ulrich and Georg jumped into the water and swam to the cold water until they went out of the cave. The water was freezing, but that did not stop them. Luckily, they found branches of trees floating and pulled themselves out of the freezing water. Both of them were catching their breathes as they slowly realized that they were on a safe place.
- Yes! Darn! I did it. We both did it Ulrich. Good heavens I need a hot drink once I'll return home.
- Oh! I cannot wait to go home Georg. For sure, everyone is thinking now that we are dead. I need a hot drinks too! Let's go.
- The two walked home. Despite the winter storms and wind, both continued walking. Ulrich was so weak and many times he fell to the ground, but Georg hold him up and giving him a hand. The two were so desperate to arrive to their family. Ulrich was sharing his memorable childhoods while Georg was telling about his happiest times with his family and friends. They both enjoyed walking along those ice dunes and hill covered snow. Hours past until they started to see a glimpse of their village. They finally arrived.
- Look! We are finally here!
- You cannot all believe what adventure we had. Right Georg?
- Ulrich invited Georg to stay for awhile at their abode and have dinner with the family. Both of them were story telling what happened and forgot the dispute that the two of them was having. They became close friends. It was the start of another chapter for both families. From that day on, Ulrich and Georg were enjoying each other company. They started to hunt rabbits together and all the things they did it together.
- Uh-huh! You cannot imagine what we have gone through and luckily we are here with you. This is indeed a new life for me!
