- Character vs Character - Federigo joining in Jousting also Tournaments and hosting feast for Monna's Love But for his luck Monna stated she does not care about things done for her and whoever did them and she was happily married . This shows The Conflict in the story and how the people in the story act. Helping the readers understand what kind of people our character's are.
- Climax
- setting- Federigo who has just spent all of his wealth on his love for Monna has to from Tuscany to move to his farm with his falcon. The Reason this setting is important it shows the kind of person federigo is spending his wealth for love to then have to move to his farm. The being of this setting shows how Fedrigo acts showing what he did for Monna
- Falling action
- Dialouge-Monna's Husband dies and makes her son her heir and Monna his heir if his sown died without a heir. Then Monna was a widow and moved to the country to one of her possessions very close to Fedrigo's Farm. This alludes to upcoming problems being very close to Fedrigo farm.
- Resoultion
- characterazation-Monna's son fell ill and he told her mother if you get me Fedrigo's falcon I will feel better and Monna agrees to get it. This shows that Monna is a good mother but she fells bad asking the guy who gave everything up for her to get his last thing.This shows what Monna will do for her son but it also sets up the confrotation of asking someone who loves you for there most important thing.
- Dramatic Irony-Monna goes to Federigo home he invites them in for dinner Fedrerigo wanting to make it grand killed and cooked his falcon not knowing Monna was here for it after he learned this he broke down.-This shows Dramatic irony because we know Monna is here for the falcon But federigo not knowing this cooked it and Monna ate it not knowing it was the falcon.
- Theme-The story ends with Monna going Home and her son dying Her brothers asking her to remarry and she says the only man she would marry is Federigo. This shows how Sometimes buying things doing things for love wont end well .The theme is Love and sacrifice. This helps us understand the theme not just being love because federigo scarificed for his love for Monna
- I will only marry Federigo.
