- Lincoln's brilliant speech made him famous, and two years later__
- You did it Abe! You're elected president!

- Mr. President! Southern Troops have taken Fort Sumter!
- Lincoln tried desperately to keep the slavery issue from splitting the country, but on April 12, 1861__
- God help us! The war has begun!
