- Phase 2: Expansion Inland (1603-1670. New France was made and the French Traded with the FN Around the great lakes and st. lawrence river.

- Phase 3: Rival Networks (1670-1760) Britain made the HBC. Now the two countries were both trading with the FN. This meant competition.

- The Drive West (1760-1821). The North West company took over. Now the two british ones were competeing. They both headed west to be the first to get to the unclaimed trading territory.
- Cmon Men! Further West
- Great job gentlemen! We've taken over the trades!
- Now We Can Trade Together!
- Phase 5: Monopoly in the West (1821-1870). Britain got the HBC & the NWC To Merge into one compony called the Hudsons Bay company. Which traded all throughout Canada.
