- Snowball threw ribbons onto the fire because to him, ribbons signify the mark of a human being. He also said that ribbons should be considered as clothes and told the other animals to go naked.
- The name 'Manor Farm' was changed by Snowball to 'Animal Farm' after the rebellion ended
