Once upon a time, a guru and his disciple came to the kingdom of fools. The people were awake during the night and slept during the day. Everything in the kingdom costs the same.
The disciple wanted to stay in the kingdom but, the guru refused. Later on, the guru gave up and they part their ways while the disciple grew fat eating cheap and good food.
Some days later, a thief had died in a merchants house after looting it. The thief's brother complained to the king about the incident. The merchant blamed it on the bricklayer who built his house. The bricklayer blamed it on a dancer who then blamed it on the goldsmith who blamed it on merchants father who had died long before. The merchant was to be put on the steak.
But, the merchant was found to be too thin for the steak so, they found a fat person to be killed who just happened to be the disciple.
The disciple prayed for the guru to come and rescue him. The guru came and cooked up a plan. He said to the king and the merchant that whoever died first and second in the steak will come back to life as a king and minister respectively.
After the incident the people wanted the guru and the disciple to become the king and the minister. They accepted and soon made the kingdom like any other. People were awake during the day and nothing cost the same.
