Storyboard Szöveg

  • If you'll excuse me, sir, I'd want to explain why there was a scuffle...
  • No! I will not accept acts of violence or disrespect. Miss April, you have been dismissed.
  • That was an unjust dismissal; you were not at blame in this situation. Mr. Van de lander, our general manager, is to blame.
  • He refused to allow me to explain why I had pushed Mr Vande lander. He has no idea that he was attempting to remove my hijab.
  • Hey! Because you are a member of a trade union, I believe you should contact Mrs. Adams, our elected shop steward, who will be able to assist you.
  • Good morning, Mrs. Paul. I was told you might be able to help me with a workplace issue.
  • Of course, please let me know what happened, and we'll take care of it from there.
  • In this scene, Miss April's supervisor informs her that she has been fired as a result of an altercation that he believes she started. Her supervisor didn't give her enough time to explain herself. Employers and supervisors abuse employees, which can lead to workplace problems.
  • You won't be able to enter unless you remove your hijab, or I will do so for you.
  • I'm not removing my hijab, and neither are you. You have no right to tell me what to dress, and I have no right to tell you what to wear.
  • Hey!
  • Miss April's co-workers advise her that she is not just amember of a trade union, but that she should approach Mrs. Paul to resolve the situation. Trade unions are organizations that protect employees' rights andensure that they are treated fairly at work.
  • This is a miscommunication.
  • you have acted in a dreadful manner.
  • Miss April recounts what has transpired in this scene. Mrs.Paul then tells Miss April that she will take care of the matter and that she will speak with her boss about it and get back to her.
  • We've gathered here today to discuss the important subject of unjust dismissal, as well as unfair treatment in the job and, lastly, workplace discrimination.
  • Discrimination against co-workers may go overlooked by upper management. Shop stewards are on hand to deal with such situations.
  • Managers do not always have the whole picture and may overlook the situation and place the blame on the incorrect person.
  • The shop steward summons the manager, the boss, and both of the employees involved in the dispute for a meeting. The shop steward serves as a liaison between employees and management.
