Before his own birth, men came to his parent's home looking for his father, when they didn't find him they violently threatened her mother and family, this would forshadow all other events in his life
He grows up in a white area, one of his most traumatic experiences was when his home was burned down by members of the Black Legion, leaving him and his siblings crying on the streets while police officers just watched
He exceled in school, becoming one of the best in his class, he even started to dream of becoming a lawyer
He went to Boston, a big city, moslty consisting of black owned business, he was amazed to the massive difference of the white owned towns he was acustomed to
After being to by his teacher that he would never become a lawyer due to his race, he became desilutioned and gave up on school
When he became slighter of age, he officially moved to a big city and started to connect to his roots and culture, letting go of his life and customs of his white town life
