- From the halls of sunlight in Mount Olympus ,Zeus looked down at the bare and empty Earth ,where there was no movement or life .
- He sent Prometheus and Epimetheus to make living creatures ,they gave a gift to all the living creatures that they made ,Epimetheus was an amazing craftsman but not as amazing as Prometheus .Prometheus watched over his brother, Epimetheus whilst he worked .
- Prometheus made the last living creature .He mixed soil and water together and made mud-men .When it came to giving mud-men a gift there was nothing to give .All the gifts had already been given out like fur ,wings and more so Prometheus sneaked up to the fiery chariot of the sun and stole a sliver of fire and gifted it to the mud-men .
- Zeus thought that it was bad enough that Prometheus made the mud-men to look like Gods but now he shared their belongings with them so he tied Prometheus to a cliff and sent eagles to peck at him forever .
- After punishing Prometheus ,Zeus made the first woman and gifted her to Epimetheus as his bride .As a wedding present ,he gave them a wooden chest bound with bands of iron with a giant padlock with the key already in it but Zeus warned them to never open it .
- Pandora was very curious to find out what was in the box .One day she heard voices from inside the box pleading her to just peek inside the box .Pandora was tempted to take a quick look but when she did ,she accidentally let loose many vicious creatures such as disease, cruelty ,pain, old age ,disappointment ,hate ,jealousy, war and death .Fortunately she also set loose hope who fluttered around the world strengthening hearts and spreading courage .
