- Hi ! My name is Asantewa Swivara, I'm 16 years old. I live in a Reservation in California with my dad, my mum and my siblings. I have one older sister, one younger sister and one younger brother.My family is very old : they have lived in California over 200 years. My mum family and my dad family both live in California.
- Welcome to my Reservation !
- This is my school. In my class, we are thirty students and my Reservation has about 33 colleges.In school, we learn about our culture and our language in order to preserve Natives culture.I go to school five times a week and on the weekends I study a lot. Later I want to become a teacher in this Reservation. Now, many Natives want to leave the Reservation but I want to preserve our culture and our values. All the world has to know about our story.
- Hi ! I'm Laura, a friend of Asantewa ! We are in the same class, we both want to become a teacher.
- My life is not always easy because my Reservation is more poor than rich. I try to help people as much as possible to improve our life conditions.They are my two younger siblings : Malya and Nolyo. They are both 6 years old. They go to school four times a week and at home I help my mum to educate them.
