- Chapter 9: Mrs. shroud brought josephs daughter to his funeral so that she could at least get to know the rest of her family she and his brother jack and Jupiter were playing around because they have never seen each other since joseph was too young to have a daughter( And they waited more than a year for his 16th birthday )
- Chapter 3: ever since school started joseph and jack have had to take the bus to school because they did not want to walk and nobody could take them so they had no choice but to take the bus to school because they had nothing else to use to school. (The next morning my dad told me we were going to take the school bus from now on. )
- Joseph's dad drove them off a broken bridge because he taught them there was nothing else to live for because he did not like life and he was not enjoying his life so he just thought it kills both of them instead of just doing it himself. (Through the bridge out sign )
- Joseph and jack shoveled the snow on top of the house and the car and their backyard because f the hard snow storm there was their whole neighborhood was over up to 20 feet of snow. I shoveled the snow out of the barns and house
- Joseph's dad was holding jack hostage because he didn't care to abut life anymore because he thought nobody cared about him or thought about him a single time because joseph his own son did not care about him
- They had finally found Jupiter when they were looking for her for the longest time and still joseph could not see her because Madeline's parents would not let him
