After the annexation of Sudetenland, Hitler had promised that it was all he wanted. However, only a mere 6 months after taking Sudetenland, Hitler occupied western Czechoslovakia.
Netherlands & Belgium
WE WERE TOO LATE!!!!
A month after Germany took over Czechoslovakia, the Italians invaded Albania. Britain & France had pledged their support to Poland, pledging to come to their aid if Germany invaded. Hitler did not believe them, forming a pact with Stalin and invaded Poland on September 1st 1939.
Luxembourg & France
Hitler began a successful attack on Denmark & Norway on April 9th, 1940.
Paris & Britain
On May 10th, 1940 Germany launched attacks on the Netherlands & Belgium. Britain & France were too late & Germany took control of the Netherlands in 5 days and Belgium in less than 3 weeks.
Along with the Netherlands & Belgium, Luxembourg was also attacked. Luxembourg was taken over in less than a day. In mid-May, Germany began invading Northern France.
Hitler began to force his troops through France and sent 900 vessels to Great Britain. The French government had given up Paris. However, Britain had figured out that Hitler wouldn't invade Britain unless they had established air superiority, giving Britain the upper hand.
