- Well for starters, it's important to know about the differences between mitosis and meiosis, Bone Jone.
- Well, I already know about mitosis...
- That's great! You also might already know about that mitosis duplicates identical body cells, as it's important for growth or repairing damage, right?
- Right!
- Not Meiosis!! With Meiosis, you're now dividing cells, instead of multiplying them, and making gametes!
- What are gametes...
- Now you might be asking yourself, Bone, "what in the world is a gamete?"
- Oh boy, I sure am.
- Well, Bone Jone, "gametes" are an organism's reproductive cells, y'know, sperms and eggs.
