- During the 300 years, combination of Spanish and American Indian culture arise. This era is about the Spanish conquest to the start of the revolt against Spain.
- 4th Era: 1910- 1939
- GO BACK WHERE YOU CAME FROM!
- The Mexican-American war broke out in 1846- 1848 which resulted in the United States gaining new land and the war ended by the Guadalupe Hidalgo treaty. However the U.S broke the promise and discriminated the Mexicans.
- 5th Era: 1940- Present
- The Anglo- Americans gained new land in which the Mexican Americans in the Southwest was overpoweredby the Anglo- Americans in the East.
- Whether it was legal or illegal, many Mexican- Americans came to the U.S to seek a better life. However, the Great Depression ended the great immigration and many were sent back.
- In 1960 many Mexican- American came together to gain their civil rights. Many lives change, from rural to urban.
