During the 300 years, combination of Spanish and American Indian culture arise. This era is about the Spanish conquest to the start of the revolt against Spain.
4th Era: 1910- 1939
GO BACK WHERE YOU CAME FROM!
The Mexican-American war broke out in 1846- 1848 which resulted in the United States gaining new land and the war ended by the Guadalupe Hidalgo treaty. However the U.S broke the promise and discriminated the Mexicans.
5th Era: 1940- Present
The Anglo- Americans gained new land in which the Mexican Americans in the Southwest was overpoweredby the Anglo- Americans in the East.
Whether it was legal or illegal, many Mexican- Americans came to the U.S to seek a better life. However, the Great Depression ended the great immigration and many were sent back.
In 1960 many Mexican- American came together to gain their civil rights. Many lives change, from rural to urban.
