- Steve's parents did not let him attend the party because they believe the exam is to important and will be hard and long. This is shocking for Steve because they would usually promote him to attend social events like this.
- Also, you need you sleep. You need to think properly. Mrs. Rupert was your history teacher last year and she gave very long, hard exams.
- Absolutely not! The exam is too important and you need to study!
- I am not much of an NHL person. But Mike told me you are also interested in the NBA.
- Steve snuck out of his house and walked by foot to Lisa's house. The opportunity to regain his relationship with Mike and meet many new friends was to tempting for him to resist.
- I am going to attend this party because it is a great opportunity to make new friends. Lisa is one of the most popular students at school and Mike is going to be there. My parents told me that liquor is bad for people but I am interested in what it tastes like.
- I would always cheer for the Toronto Maple Leafs because they are from Toronto but my favorite team must be the Chicago Blackhawks .
- Wow! Everything Mike has said about me behind my back must have had such an impact. Maybe attending this party is a bad idea.
- Lisa and Mike greeted Steve before he came to the door because of Lisa's security cameras. Lisa told Mike that inviting Steve was probably a bad idea after what she heard about him from Mike. Steve felt like going to the party was a mistake. Mike confessed that he was spreading lies.
- High, Steve! I still do not believe you made me invite him to this party. I thought you told me you have only hung out with him because he keeps following you.
- There might not be some truths to what I said but never the less he is a good person and is actually very interesting.
- Steve introduced himself when he got inside Lisa's house. Everyone was upset that he came.
- I knew this was a bad idea.
- Hello guys. It's Steve from school. I am Mike's friend.
- High, Steve. I'm Fred.

- Why did Mike get Lisa to invite him to this party?

- Despite everyone's reaction to Steve attending the party, he was able to bond with Fred, Benjamin, and Mitch about the NHL while drinking beer.
- What is your favorite NHL team?
- I like the Philadelphia Flyers. They have my favorite NHL centreman, Claude Giroux.
- What a huge loser. I'm not even interested in the NHL.
- Steve got drunk pretty quickly and Alan still keeps glaring at him. Steve caught his dirty look and confronted him. Alan was quick to insult him.
- Hey Steve. Where are you going?
- Uh oh. I hope this doesn't escalate.
- Hey Alan. What are you looking at!
- Just because there are people that like you does not mean you are cool. You are an annoying loser who tries to follow other people all the time.
