- Omg I can't believe I'm starting my senior year this year and I don't know where or what to do for college.
- When I was younger, I always wanted to become a doctor but now I'm having doubts. What if it's too hard and I want to give up? I think I should talk to my older sister.
- Hey Reina (older sister), how is your last year of medical school so far?
- Well, if I'm being honest, it has been really hard for the past couple months. I have a lot of clinical work to complete but I also have to study for my board exam.
- Wow, that sounds brutal. I don't know how you do it. Are there times where you just want to give up? I'm asking because I'm so confused on what I want to do for my college major and I feel so behind my friends that already know what they want to do.
- I didn't know you felt that way. But I can tell you this. You don't have to know if you want to go to med school right now. You can try the premed classes once you're in college and decide if it's a passion of yours .Don't tell mom and dad, but that's how I figured if I wanted to actually become a doctor.
- Also, I know that I told you I'm having a hard time right now, but that's normal. It's normal to have a hard time with studies and it's normal that you don't know what to do. You don't need all the answers in this very moment. And, if you go to college and decide that going to med school is not what you want to do, that's fine. Our parents will still be proud of you and I will be too.

- Wow, that talk with my sister actually helped. For now, I definitely know that I want to go to college for biochemistry and from there, I will see if I want to go to med school. One step at a time is how I should approach this problem.
