- They live in a world where everywhere they go it's dark and raining. They just got married, so they hoped maybe they could see the sun, and it would be good luck.
- Climax
- They are riding around together on their scooter just hoping to find the sun soon. They know it will probably be pretty far, because they have never seen it before.
- Falling Action
- Their scooter broke, so they had to stop in a nearby town to get it repaired. They saw a lady leave her purse and they wanted to give it back. However Mr. Noakes said they should not go.
- Resolution
- They give the woman her purse and she offers them to come in. They see the sun and love it, and they stay a little while. They have to decide whether to go stay at the cottage or leave the sun. They would have to leave and act like they did not find the sun.
- They decided to leave the cottage. Mr. Noakes ask them where they found the sun, because they were tan. So, with respect for the Hatchings they did not tell him. They knew he would take advantage of it for business. They did not want to ruin the Hatchings peaceful cottage.
- They continued on their adventure together happily. They knew where to find sun and visit the Hatchings if they ever wanted to again. Now they would never forgrt how nice being in the sun was.
