- A young businessman, Billy Weaver, was looking for a place to stay in Bath, England around nine in the evening after his train ride from London.
- When he got off the train he asked a man where a cheap hotel was that was not to far away. The man said to try the Bell and Dragon. But on the way he sees a sign for a bed and breakfast and feels compelled to enter.
- Where should I go
- Try the Bell and Dragon.
- A middle aged women let him in almost as soon as he rang the doorbell. The women was oddly overly friendly. The women said how she was expecting him and how he was so handsome.
- Are the people still here?
- The women insisted that Billy needed to sign the guest book. Billy only saw two names and feels like he knows them but could not think of where from. The women serves Billy some tea. Billy asks about the people in the guest book. The women says they are still in the house upstairs together, on the third floor.
- Yes, they are up stairs.
- Billy asks about who stuffed the dog and parrot. The women says she stuffed them herself.
- Who stuffed the parrot and dog? They look so real.
- I stuffed them myself!
- The women offers Billy another tea. Billy declines the offer. He thinks the tea is bitter and does not care for it.
- No thank you.
- Would you like some more tea?
