- What is happening here ?
- We are here today in a rally to demonstrate for the BLM mouvement and to pay homage to the victims of police brutality.
- Me, Breonna Taylor, and a lot of other people like Treyvon Martin, Eric Garner, Micheal Brown and George Floyd were killed by the police because of the color of our skin. The problem that some people have with black people dates back to hundreds years ago with slavery and segregation. In some people's eyes we're inferior to them.
- 10 minutes later.
- As a sign of support for my people, I took a knee during the national anthem. This act cost me my career for a year and it took a lot of time to rebuild my athletic career after that event.
- I understand better now, it's scandalous.
- Even me as the mayor of the city of Washington got backlash for my inscription on the floor, by some citizens and even by Donald Trump who used to be the president of the United States of America at this time.
