- Hey, I brought Wilbur along with me.
- I don't want to be rude Wei-Chen, but why were you so adamant about bringing Wilbur here?
- Well, you're my friend and you've been more and more distant recently, so I thought you making a new friend could help.
- Sorry for being distant. The thing is, I've been thinking about me being asian. More specifically, me not wanting to be asian. I feel like I was born into the wrong ethnicity, you know? I just don't feel like I'm 'normal'.
- I kind of get what you mean. I never found a place or group to fit in with. I've always just been by myself.
- You're right. I shouldn't feel ashamed of who I am, I am me. I'm glad we had this conversation. When do you guys want to hang out again?
- It's okay guys. You guys are still yourselves. You should not try to mold into another type of person or ethnicity. You guys are great people.
