- Listen, in the corporate world, it’s just the way things work. I know what to do to become successful, which is why I’m the boss and you are not. We aren’t breaking any laws; this is just due to NAFTA encouraging more free trade. If you don’t agree, then you can leave.
- Seeing no success, Mateo tries again, but using a more serious tone and expressing their lack of care for human life. Robert shuts Mateo down, saying how they “have” to do it because all their competitors do the exact same thing –- if they don’t, they will ultimately fall behind.
- No, seriously Robert! We need to consider alternatives! Do you have no care for human life?

- Mateo, just stop talking. This is getting out of hand...
- Mateo is disappointed to see his co-workers, including Jacob, nodding along and agreeing with everything Robert says. Thus, Mateo simply opts to stay silent the whole meeting, and even though no one else addressed him, he could feel all eyes on him.
- Yeah so I've actually brought my laptop with me to connect to the viewboard after I login, and I can present to you the prototype for our new camera. Anything you want changed I'll work on right away.

- Mateo is doing an interview with a company called “Ethico Inc.”, again for a quality control manager position. As the interview ends, the employer smiles and tells that he is impressed with Mateo’s accolades and internship success.
