- The soldiers ordered that Paul be taken into the barracks. But before he entered, he said to the soldier, Please, let me speak to the people.
- Please! Let me speak to the people!
- Saul! Saul!
- He began to speak. About noon, as I came near Damascus, suddenly a bright light from heaven flashed around me. I fell to the ground and heard a voice say to me, Saul! Saul! Why do you persecute me?
- Who are you, Lord?
- Why do you persecute me?
- I am Jesus of Nazareth!
- He said to me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you are persecuting. What shall I do Lord? I asked. Get up, and go into Damascus. There you will be told all that you have been assigned to do.
- What shall I do, Lord?
- Get up, and go into Damascus
- A man called Ananias came to talk to me. He said, Brother Saul, receive your sight! And at that very moment I could see him.
- Look!
- When I came back to Jerusalem, I prayed. I saw the Lord standing in front of me and he told me: Quick, leave! They won't accept you! And so I left.
- Quick, leave! They won't accept you!
- God came to see Adam and Eve. They had not obeyed him. he talked to Adam and Eve. He asked if they had eaten the fruit. They said they did.
