- Just like yesterday, I went home but this time it was sort-of different, we had an interaction for the first time since. Me, Alexis, Jahnai and Alex were on a call, and he was added. For background information , Alex and Jannai are his best friends . Alexis on the other hand is my homegirl, but she and Jahnai were dating.
- After that call, we ended up on the phone privately. Lord knows how, but I was so happy. It felt right. To hear his voice, hear his laugh, and for us to be able to have a conversation about the series of emotions we were experiencing. The voids in our hearts were refilled.
- September 27th, I came to school once again. I walked through the double doors, took my temperature and walked up those two flights of stairs that felt like 4, lol. After advisory, I was in PE class, in the gym.
- As coach T continued on announcing the directions, a tall brown skin with black dreadheads walked in, making his way to the nurses office. He was about 5’10, and took big steps as he walked. I looked over to my friends, complimenting him.
