- My name is Lance Lawson and Emilio Aguinaldo is a hero to me. He single handled led our people to our Independence from the terrible Spain. He also told those Americans off when they tried to control our people. He's a legend.

- My name is Yan Iago and now I'm losing rights such as trading with certain foreign countries because the U.S. is making Cuba sign this treaty. Since we are giving up some rights the U.S. now is in a treaty to protect us, so it's not that bad.
- Open Door Notes
- My name Yan Iago and my country is next to P.R. and thanks to the U.S. my country doesn't have to sleep scared. The Spanish have been terrorizing us and the U.S. stepped up for us. Now they protect us and treat us well.
- Boxer Rebellion
- My name is Antonio Molina and finally my people can do what we want in our country, with the gov. allowing it. We are now apart of America but we control ourselves. This means our gov. is the only ones giving our rules, laws, etc.
- My name is Sam smith and finally I can trade with the Chinese. I need their products in order to continue my business. thanks to the policy we can trade peacefully again.
- My name is Tai Ling and right now I am being targeted for my ethnicity. I can't even walk around my neighborhood anymore cause I'm so scared. I have a family and if they try to hurt any of them I won't be able to stop myself.
