- All hail, Macbeth. Hail to thee, thane of Glamis!
- All hail, Macbeth. Thou shalt be king hereafter!
- All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, thane of Cawdor!
- I don't understand
- He bade me, from him, call thee thane of Cawdor.
- Scotland and Norway have a bloody battle.
- Sons, kinsmen, thanes. Know we will establish our estate upon our eldest, Malcolm, whom we name hereafter the Prince of Cumberland.

- King Duncan decides to give the old thane of cawdor’s place to Macbeth because he was a traitor

- The witches meet Macbeth and Banquo an tell Macbeth that he will be Thane of Cawdor and king
- Is this a dagger which I see before me, the handletoward my hand?
- The first prophecy becomes true and Macbeth becomes Thane of Cawdor and King Duncan decides that Malcolm, his son, was going to be the next King
- Lady Macbeth convinces Macbeth to kill King Duncan
- I can't kill the King, He's here in double trust.
- Macbeth follows the dagger to kill Duncan
