- 6)No Sam...it doesn't meant right hand or right direction. Rights are things people get and deserve. These rights cannot be taken away from you. A right is something which a person is allowed to do. Let me give you an example. Right to play, right to education, right to be heard and many, many more more. That's what I meant when I said 'Right to be loved and cared for', Sam. It means you also have the right to be loved and looked after. Now did you understand a bit about rights Sam?
