- There once lived a goddess named Demeter, and she had a beautiful daughter named Persephone.
- One day Persephone was picking flowers, and she came across the most beautiful flower that she had ever seen.
- "WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MY BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!"
- Persephone had caught the eye of Hades, god of the under world. Hades went to Zeus the god of the sky and asked for Persephone's hand in marriage. Zeus agreed.
- While Persephone was admiring the flower Hades came from behind and kidnapped her taking her to the under world.
- Welcome to the under world
- Hades took her to the under world
- When they arrivedto the under world Persephone refused to eat or drink anything.
- "I will not eat a thing!"
- Meanwhile, Demeter was in agony missing her daughter, she refused to grow anything until her daughter returned.
- One day Demeter was sitting thinking about how her daughter was doing when all of a sudden two little girls came up to her and asked what was wrong she told them that she was sad and said that sh
- "What's wrong beautiful lady?"
- One day Demeter was thinking about her daughter when all of a sudden two little girls came up to her and asked her what was wrong. She told them that she was looking for a job. The little girls told her that their mother was looking for a nanny, so the girls brought her to their mother . She was immediately hired as the new nanny.,
- After being there for a while Demeter stared to place the baby in the fire place every night she said that it would make the baby immortal.
- But the mother of the child found out what Demeter was doing and kicked her out.
- •After Demeter was kicked out she went to Zeus and said that if she could have her daughter back then she would grow vegetation again. Zeus agreed
- "Please give me my daughter back, and i'll let plants grow once more".
- When Hades heard the news he panicked he didn't want her to leave. He asked her to eat with him before she left, Persephone was so happy to be leaving that she said yes she picked up a pomegranate and ate seven seeds. Then she left.
- "I will eat now that i can leave."
- When Persephone returned from the underworld her mother asked her if she had eaten anything when she was there. she told her about the pomegranate and her mother started to cry. Her daughter would have to live in the underworld for seven months the yeah. And during those seven months Demeter was sad and refused to grow anything.
