- Mansa Musa wanted to go on the largest mecca and prove his loyalty and fulfill the Zakat pilgrimage. Mansa Musa then went on a trip to the Mecca.
- Mansa Musa brings Arab scholars, architects, bureaucrats to the Mali Empire.
- Mansa Musa got to Cairo and met the Sultan. Though Mans Musa didn't want his Haji to mix up with business he had a talk with him, and he gets to know the Sultan and to the word that Mansa Musa being at Cairo.
- Mansa Musa decides to build a university called Timbuktu fulled with people and scholars he brought from Cairo
- Welcome to the University of Timbuktu
- Mansa Musa gives gold to the poor and beggars. This is significant to complete the pillar of Zakat/charity.
