- Sheikh Mohammed, the owner of a tiny book and stationery shop near our office, had come to get his cheque for the books he had provided to us for the Banglore slum schools. at the time we were celebrating something and sweets had been handed out to everyone.
- She is my sister Zubeida's daughter. She is a widow and both stay with us.
- No. Madam. I'm going to take them home and give them to my daughter andniece. They love these sweets !!
- Yes, She is a very good tailor. She and my wife do tailoring at home.With their income and the money I earn we get by well.
- Why aren't you eating the sweets Sheikh ?
- Does Zubeida work?
- Why does your niece stay with you?
- Few months later ... Zubeida was diagnosed with cancer and Sheikh needed money urgently for her surgery.
- The next day, Sheikh showed me the documents and I gave him a cheque for 50K rupees. Sheikh was very grateful for our help ........ A few more days passed and Sheikh sent a message saying that the operation had gone well.
