- As Tao walks down the forest he comes upon a huge owl protecting its eggs from Ram, but the owl is pinching its beak at Ram, so Tao comes to help him steal 2 eggs and leaves one for the owl to take care of.
- Argument Between Tao and Volt

- They are evil spirits and we hunt like men
- Tao and Ram in relief of the owl quietly drank the juice inside both the eggs, and quickly started on their way once again.
- Tao's Thoughts
- I wish I was a hunter's son to be the chosen one
- Tao had to go back to his people, but Ram kept following until Ram backed up and sadly left Tao on to the path home
- Tao's Parents
- You are to young
- Tao and Volt argue about that wolf-dogs are evil spirits but Tao explains that they could help hunt, mean while Garth is laughing grimly as Tao just leaves to Kala's hut
- If I had a wolf it could help me hunt
- Tao always wanted to be the chosen one, but he had to be the son of the hunters or of the chosen one but never knew who were his parents.
- As Tao asks Kala about his parents Kala always reminds Tao that he's to young know but now he was older.
