- Four Brahmans lived near one another and were friends in a small town. Three of them had been scholars their whole lives and had learned much, but they had no common sense. The fourth couldn'tbe bothered to study from dusty dry books, but he had a great deal of common sense.
- One of us isn't smart or educated enough, having only common sense; he won't get very far in the world without a scholarship, therefore let's not give him our money; he should return home.
- Is this your plan for me after our friendship? Okay fine.
- That's true, friend, you should go home.
- I shall strive for myself even if I am alone. I intend to save a significant amount of money in order to realize my ambitions. I may tell my friends that effort and diligence are more important than talent.
