- It is the early 1800's and white boys are still the only ones allowed in school! Ugh.
- I know right! Girls and African Americans should also have the right to be in school but they are not allowed. That is why this is a problem.
- We cannot read nor write. We have to do something about this!
- I know! I wish someone would help us start a protest or something. All we do is learn how to cook and sew..
- Girls are not allowed in school because they belong in the kitchen! They should not be allowed many rights.
- My name is Horace Mann and I believe that there should be public schools in every city. Also every person should be allowed in! Girls and African Americans included.
- I am the first president of a new college for men AND women.
- I am Prudence Crandall and I let a black girl in my school.
- Yeah! Yay.
- Lets fight for our rights! I am Prudence Crandall and I am opening schools for girls and boys!
- Thank you for helping girls go to school.
- Yes of course, girls deserve just as much as boys and should have the right to go to school, vote, have control over wage, propertly and more.
