- The french and indian war was a war between france and great britain . It started because both wanted control more land like the Ohio river walley which in that time was very valuable . But also The french were upset the english colonists had moved into their land .
- We are taking your land !
- No! You can't do that
- No this is our land!
- The french and indian war started on 1754 and was known as The seven years war This war was over land . The plan was the birtish to expand into the interior of america because it was overpopulating . It was really important for the british because they put them in debt .
- Its a War!
- But there were so problems too. In 1761 the british lost over 1000 men . Diseases like small pox were killing the troops so there werent enought men to fight on the war.
- What am i going to do!
- From where are we going to get all the money?
- The treaty of paris ended the war and it was signed on 1763 . The birtish won the war but was in a huge dept of $133 million after the war . But the colonists had to pay taxes so it helped the british pay their dept . The french had to give all their land to the birtish . And the british got the Ohio river valley .
- Dont worry about that now! Be happy no more war!!!
- Yay! Finally after 9 years!
