This is to do with our Quarterly R&R. Till date we used to get the certificates & announcements of winners. As part of improving the R&R experience, the HR team is introducing Gift Vouchers for the winners.
Awesome, that’s a very positive move & loved that concept. But how will they determine the winners? They must be getting a lot of nominations. I heard about 10 nominations from my department.
Yes, every quarter the team receives over 150 nominations. The MANCOM comprising of senior leaders goes through each one of the nominations to select the best among them. Further the team has introduced a 'STAR RATING' something similar to Google rating or what we do on Swiggy.
That seems a lot of work for leadership team. What happens after that ?
Yes , In all progressive Organizations people agenda is a priority for leadership. On further steps, Team HR collates these ratings from all Mancom members and who ever gets the highest rating will get the voucher.
That means only 3 out of 150 nominations, assuming that we have an Individual Award Winner, Team and Value winner.
There is more to it …The nominations for individual award category is divided as sales, corporate and operations so 3 gift vouchers up for grabs + 1 each for Team and Value winners from the Business Unit.
Cool, that means a greater chance for everyone to win some Gift Vouchers. Happy to know what the Organization is doing even during these trying times. Even I knew informally that I have been nominated this time. Thanks Guru for the information.
