- Bushido is a set of codes that the Samurai follow since they are trained at a young age. One part of the Bushido which is Integrity,
- They honored the Bushido code, because if they break a code, they commit sepukku, suicide with their katana in a specific way. They valued honor, courage, duty, integrity, and respect.
- A quote from the document set is, "Knights were professional warriors, most of whom depended for their livelihood on the use of arms. This profession required physical and moral strength, discipline and cohesion, and also sufficient leisure time to permit training in combat and horsemanship.” The knights were expected to honor their codes, and to remain disciplined which connects to my values i have.
- The connection between the Bushido codes and my company core values is that they both value integrity respect. NFL’s core value is respect. The NFL value the respect of other players toward each other, as well as the samurai did with their Bushido code. The company I researched which was the NFL, also values integrity which is part of the Bushido code as well. They value this because, "The high standards, fame, and reverence associated with the NFL come down to the values within this organization."
