- He heard footsteps at the other end of the alley...
- "You like a drink?"
- *Andy shaking his head.*
- Andy, who's a sixteen-year-old boy, collapsed and fell down on a slick sidewalk in the Bronx shortly after seeking out for a pack of cigarettes while discovering that the candy shop was closed. Knowing that Alfredo's would be open on the next block, he headed down the alley and that was when he had been ambushed.
- "I'm sorry.''
- "Freddie, lets get out of here! Please!"
- I'm Andy.
- "A Royal, huh?" (Hunter, 7)

- "His name is Andy."
- Next came Freddie and Angela. They didn't notice Andy until he made a little grunt and Freddie saw him. He realized that Andy was a Royal and Angela said she wanted to go home, so both of them left Andy there. They didn't want any trouble with the Guardians.
- Andy felt really disturbed by the thought that people saw him as the value of the ROYAL jacket. He thought the last thing he should was take of that identitythat killed him. The last thing Andy did before he died was taking off the jacket. He wanted to be known as Andy.
- Laura had found Andy in the alley, but it was too late. Andy had lost a lot of blood, she ran to inform a cop. When the cop came, he inspected the scene and picked up the bright purple jacket. The cop noted A Royal, in the his notes not listening to Laura's reply.
