- In France, Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI are the king and Queen of France.
- They partied, not caring about the taxes the third estate would have to continually pay in order for them to party
- Those poor people are so sad
- I love partying
- We can't pay anymore taxes
- The third estate were the only ones paying taxes. The taxes were so high they had no money for necessities.
- Those rich people are going to pay
- We're hungry
- The third estate came up with an idea, the tennis court oath. An oath they pledged in order to keep fighting until they have a constitution.
- We are not going to stop until there is a Constitution
- After they took the tennis court oath, a rumor went around that Britain was going to send troops on third estate, so the third estate came to Bastille.
- How dare you send your troops!
- They killed soldiers and put their heads on pitchforks. They had no mercy for them. They stormed Bastille.
