- Romeo, you are here very early. Are you so upset that you got up early, or have you not yet been to bed?
- I have not been to bed yet. I had something sweeter than sleep.
- Good morning Friar Laurence
- Were you with Rosaline last night?
- No, I love Rosaline no more. I went to Capulet's party disguised in a mask. There I met Juliet Capulet, whose beauty shines like the sun. Our families would forbid our love. We need your help.
- You lost love for Rosaline so quickly. Young men's love then lie not truly in their hearts, but in their eyes.
- I did not scold you for loving, but for being infatuated. And I did not intend for you to forget one girl and so quickly find another!
- Juliet loves me as much as I love her. Rosaline never loved me.
- You scolded me for loving Rosaline!
- I'm not sure you are really in love, and I feel you are rushing things. However, your marriage may end the feud between your families. Yes, Romeo, I will marry you and Juliet.
