- The Revolution
- Alexanders father had left them when he was a child and left him and his mother to fend. His mother then decided and he was forced to live with his cousin who later committed suicide. He was driven to do great so he left home to New york city.
- The Schuyler Sisters
- Hamilton attends kings collage in New York City. Hamilton meets Aaron Burr, John Laurens, the Marquis de Lafayette, and Hercules Mulligan. In the song "Aaron Burr, sir" Hamilton impresses them with his intellectual skills. He then sings about not throwing away his shot and taking all opportunities given to him throughout his life. This song is repeated throughout the play.
- Battle of Yorktown
- Hamilton is longing a position on the field of command. He is offered a position by Washington. They are warned about the dangers of congress. Hamilton accepts the position.
- The Election
- The daughters of Phillip Schuyler. Eliza falls hopelessly in love with Hamilton and they get married. When Eliza is on a trip with her sister, Hamilton cheats on her with Maria Reynolds. Later on in the play, their first born son Phillip is shot and creates a reconnection between HAmilton and Eliza.
- Hamilton comes together with Lafayette to take down the British, find out there was a traitor. He co-writes the federalist papers and is made secretary of state.
- Debate on weather they should help the British during their conflicts with France. Washington steps down as president. Hamilton backs Jefferson instead of Burr in the election, this leads to a duel between Burr and Hamilton. Hamilton ends up getting shot and is mourned by Eliza and Angelica.
