- A dust bowl is a big dust storm. There are also very high winds, livestalk and crops were killed
- During 1930 lots of dust-bowls started to happen and-

- The food was very expensive and money was rare.
- That is when the food riots started to break out, people would smash windows, and steal all the food they could carry.
- But why would they steal food when you can just buy it?
