Rachel heads back to her apartment to pack her suitcase and prepare for her sudden change in plans.
If I'm going back home, I really need to pack and check the flight.
Rachel packs her suitcase and double checks to make sure she has everything. Her thoughts are scattered from her old memories resurfacing.
Okay, I have pants, shorts, pjs, shirts, a couple dresses, leggings, and all my hygiene stuff. I think I'm good....
Rachel calls a taxi. The caller tells her it would be a couple minutes, so she waits. As she stands on the sidewalk in the blowing wind, she ponders what her parents reaction will be when she calls to tell them she's coming home. How will they react? What will I say?
When the taxi arrives, she climbs in, and tells the driver, "LaGuardia Airport, please."
Traffic is bad in Manhattan, but Rachel is used to it. As she rides in the car, she finally decides to call her dad.

"Hello?"
"Hey Sweetie! I'm doing well, me and your mother were actually just talking about maybe coming to see you soon. But, we are doing good! How are you Rach?"
"Oh well that's good to hear! Well then I have a good surprise for you. I'm in a taxi right now heading to the airport to get on a flight to you guys. I hope that's okay. It was kind of a last minute decision... I needed to come home."
